BeANurse@HCA

HCA is concerned about the continuing shortage of nurses, and we are committed to encouraging and educating today's youth to consider the advantages of a career in the field of health care. That's why we've made a commitment to the future of nursing and health care in general through our BeANurse@HCA program.

We've reached out to more than 300,000 students and professionals in Virginia, Indiana, Kentucky, and New Hampshire to educate them about the value of nursing and other allied health professions. We also invest in local community colleges and vocational programs by providing them with cash donations, scholarships, much-needed classroom equipment, faculty and adjunct professors.

And with the help of our national partners, including the Department of Labor, Job Corps and ArmyPaYS, we give people a place to start by building programs to assist displaced workers and those seeking new opportunities in a second career.
